Guest families must cope with the stress of being homeless. It is emotionally and physically draining working towards self-sufficiency. There is plenty of room to relax, read or enjoy the company of friends and volunteers.
Interfaith Hospitality Network is the only emergency homeless shelter in the greater Fort Wayne area that serves homeless families. When a family becomes homeless they must often separate because most facilities are not designed to accommodate them. The Interfaith Hospitality network is the exception, keeping families together throughout their housing crisis.
Interfaith Hospitality Network’s (IHN) vision is to unite congregations of faith-based volunteers, local social service agencies and the community-at-large via a coordinated network addressing emergency shelter needs of homeless families. IHN provides education on the issues affecting those without shelter and works toward eradicating homelessness in the greater Fort Wayne area.
